materials index ups & downs greenhouse materials

Ludvig Svensson developed its first material for screening greenhouses approximately 25 years ago. With the energy crisis of the early 1970s, greenhouse growers started to develop moving screen systems to save energy. The first aluminium materials were developed during the early 1980's and the range has evolved significantly since then. These are now widely used around the world for shading and energy saving.

We, at Hortisystems, have been the main UK reseller of these materials for 10 years, and over these years, we have provided the materials, managed, and installed hundreds of systems within glasshouses.

SVENSSON REVOLUX MATERIALS

The Revolux brand describes Svensson's flame-retardant materials. They are widely used in garden centres, public greenhouses, and other glass buildings where flame-retardance is important.

Different combinations of aluminium and polyester strips give a range of materials with approximate energy saving 20-70% and approximate shading 15-80%. Please do not hesitate to contact us for further information and/or samples of materials.
