Mini Sprinklers   Mini-sprinklers are the modern alternative to pin nozzles for use in situations where excellent coverage is required. One line of nozzles is used per 3-4 metre bay, with nozzles spaced at 1 to 1.5 m intervals , depending on sprinkler size and crop. The sprinklers are available with M11, 3/8" WW or PE bases. Sprinklers are available with a “leakage prevention device” (LPD) which shuts the nozzle off and prevents dripping onto plants when the water is turned off. Because the header pipes remain full of water, the system starts up faster and more uniformly than drained systems.
